Family lifestyle is about telling your story in an authentic way. My style with families and children is to shoot outdoors in natural light. I find that natural light looks beautiful and is very flattering.

We will shoot in a location that is special to you to ensure that everyone has a great time and the pictures look fabulous. We will usually start with a coffee and a chat so I can get to know you and what you want to get from the photographs. That way when I start to shoot I know that I will be fulfilling your needs. As we will be outside children can get a little messy. Don’t worry about that, it’s all part of the fun.

If a child has a favourite toy you may like to bring it along. Their favourite toys will have a lot of sentimental value in the future no matter how grubby and chewed they look now.

Please don’t worry that your children won’t smile or behave – we have endless patience with children; we like to photograph children as they are, looking really natural. This photo shoot will be a lot of fun and when children are enjoying themselves they always look wonderful.
